W responded to Nathan's voice.. Everyone wanted to be his pilot because of their own self ambitions, but W only responded to Nathan, the only person who really cared for it.

— Dolly Park, Raptorbot Rampage (Filipino Dub)

Ju Dingyo[1] (Korean: 주딩요), also known as Dolly Park[2] in English version is one of the main character of Tobot series since Season 2 and Tobot D's pilot. She is the quirky and inquisitive classmate of Ryan and Kory.

Her curious character makes her an excellent journalist, and she makes Daedo E-Newspaper to find and disseminate the truth behind Daedo's biggest issues.

Appearance[]

Dolly has brown eyes and pink hair, with an yellow bow on the left side of her hair. She wears an orange dress with a white jacket. She has orange and black striped socks that go up to her knees and orange shoes.

Personality[]

In the first seasons, we see that Dolly has a rather childish and sometimes selfish personality, but after experiencing trying to control Tobot W and getting into trouble with Tobot D and Norman, Dolly has become much more mature. In addition, Dolly also has a curious nature. She has a talent for reporting and runs an online newspaper that investigates many mysteries of Daedo City, starting with the mysterious disappearance of much Food by Fuse protesters. She also surveyed her classmates when they behaved strangely after eating at Food by Fuse. She's also a big fan of the Tobots, which led her to start a fan website. She wanted a Tobot of her own and wanted to be the pilot of Tobot W, but she eventually accepted Nathan as its pilot, although she later on got a Tobot of her own.

Relationships[]

Ryan Char[]

One of Dolly's classmate and neighbor (so is Kory and Dylan). Although the movie doesn't show their relationship clearly, they still get along well and work well together as a team.

Kory Char[]

Kory is Dolly's classmate, her inquisitive and curious nature clashes with Kory's reckless and easily peeved off nature. Many scenes show that Kory either acts hypocritical against her.[3] Dolly makes fun of Kory for picking his nose, to which he denies. Despite their fights, Kory would help her if she's in danger.

Dylan Kwon[]

Dolly often compliments Dylan as handsome, making Dylan surprised many times by that. Dolly was the one who proactively helped Dylan find Limo after he was detained by Angela. Dylan was the first to come to the rescue when Dolly called for help and when Dolly tries to save Norman from the octopus robot, he also runs to help Dolly.

Layla[]

At first, Dolly didn't seem to like Layla because she's too close to Dylan. But then they became good friends. They worked together on a news site in Season 2. Dolly was very worried when Layla disappeared, she ignores that Neon also disappeared and says that Layla was her top priority.

Trivia[]

  • Dolly is the only member of the Tobot team to have an offense 'Smartkey', like her bow, to make up for D‘s lack of offensive abilities. It carries electricity and is able to stun enemies for limited time (unless she finds a weak spot that causes the robot to retreat.)
    • When she received her Smartkey, it is also the first time we see Dolly have the ability to shoot bows and arrows at long distances and precisely accurate, especially considering the fact she's a 10-year-old child.
    • Due to Tobot D's lack of capability to fight, she is the only one who takes on the role of directly fighting the enemy. Although in Daedo Heroes, Dylan takes after Dolly and participates in battles because of his upgraded robot hand which is now designed for combat (but he has not shown the ability to fight too enemies, mainly Dylan uses it for rescue purposes).
  • When Dylan injured his leg from falling while playing basketball, in the Korean version, the leg was bandaged are wishes from your friends, but in the English version, only Dolly's wishes were written "Get well Dylan!".
  • In the movie Tobot: Daedo's Heroes, Dolly may have moved to another city and no longer appears in the movie until now but only appears in the ending of the movie through images of previous seasons, but there is information from the film's director Dahl Lee, that he will let Dolly appear in this film if the film continues to release.
