Cha Ha-na (Korean: 차하나), also known as Ryan Char in English Version, is one of the main characters in Tobot: Daedo's Heroes and the original Tobot series. He was the one of the first to be introduced in the start of the show. Ryan is the pilot of Tobot X and Kory's older twin brother.

Appearance[]

Ryan has amber eyes, and brows arched softly on the sides. His skin being moderately light with caramel brown hair parted to the left while his bangs slightly obscuring his left eye. He stands of average stature of his age.

Outfit[]

During the start of Tobot, most of the time, Ryan will wear a blue T-shirt with a slate blue vest on top. With it, he will wear knee-length blue pants along with turquoise shoes. He also wears his Tokey on his left wrist.

In later seasons, he dons a white shirt with a gear design on it and a checkered blue long sleeve shirt on top. In even later seasons (and the movie), he wears a white hoodie with a blue stripe going across the middle.

Though, in the very last few seasons, in which the Tobot pilots venture out into the countryside, he wears a tan button-up shirt, matching shorts, and an equally beige hat, which can be tied around the chin for extra security.

In Daedo’s Heroes, he wears a white and blue button-up varsity jacket, a white collared shirt, belt and jeans, and white sneakers with orange accents.

Personality[]

Ryan can be seen as the much more mature out of the twins, being level-headed, analytical, and academically smart. He thinks much more rationally relying on what he sees rather than what he heard from others and what's best, in the very least beneficial, for the current situation. Ryan also holds his responsibilities up high. Despite being as mature and responsible as he is, he is essentially still a child, which leads to childish solutions. But for a child, Ryan's intelligence is nothing to scoff at.

When his father, was kidnapped by Diluk Octavius, Ryan prompted to call the police to let them handle it, being overly worried for how he was doing. Though Kory disagrees, telling him they should save their dad themselves, Ryan still went over to the police station to, at least try to, report about their dad. In their fathers absence, Ryan shows a bit of his irrational side, like planning to withhold Officer Oh after finding out she has a Slugbot. Ryan also showed his technological and engineering skills by being able fix X in almost no time with the help of his father's, Franklin Char, book, fixing Dolly's mothers car with the help of X, and being able to reconnect back the Slugbot that was transmitting his fathers signal.

Though Ryan is obedient, he still tends to be a little cheeky, using the untested Tokeys along with Kory. His worrisome nature for others came soon as X requested for him to use the untested Tokeys, he hesitated because he was scared that X'd lose control because of what happened to Y but was given a much more easier way by X counting down to delete their old system. It comes back again by suspicion that the Bikerbots were waiting for the Tobots to arrive to cause a scene.

Ryan has shown to be rather heroic, jumping straight into action even without a truly solid plan and often prioritizing people's well-being first rather than catching the villains.

Kory[]

Ryan, as most siblings tend to do, has a love-hate, push-pull relationship with his 10-minute younger twin brother Kory, but is shown to care for him and worry about him as most older brothers do. Though they do clash ideals often, be it rational or irrational, but like brothers do, they work around it together.

Franklin[]

Ryan is shown to be very caring and obedient to his father, wanting him safe then ever while he was kidnapped risking the potential to get sent to an orphanage by nearly informing the police and obeys his advice to as far as dropping the hero act when people needs the Tobots the most, though he showed some rebellion after following his advice; albeit he only listens to them when said directly to him.

Mother[]

His mother died when he was very young, but it is shown that he still very much loves her and remembers bits and pieces of her.

Tobot X[]

Ryan and X had established their relation since Ryan was still young. It is shown that Ryan was quite fond of his mind core, playing with it almost all the time with Kory when they were just babies.

They are close friends, and they're both introvert and not very talkative if compared to Kory. Both of them have to deal with the problems that Kory has caused. Sometimes they have arguments, but they do good pretty quickly. With Kory, they used to be roommate while Dr. Noh stay at their house to work with the tobots.

Nathan[]

They form a team in the second season and they both like to do things that use their mind.
