Enjoy the new, humorous daily-life story with Powerfully Full-Charged Tobot X, Y, and Z along with their pilots – Ryan, Kory, and Dylan! Watch how our friends, New Tobots cooperate to protect Daedo City from new villains! - MIPCOM
Two years after Season 19, the evil robot forces have disappeared from Daedo City. The Tobots are no longer needed to save the day, and they are slowly fading away as a mere urban legend. After many of their friends left for different cities, Ryan, Kory, and Dylan are now fifth-graders. Franklin and Limo are peacefully running a mechanic shop together, but they decide the Tobots are needed once more to stop the new evil robots that have appeared in Daedo City. - Tooniverse
Differences From The Original[]
Rather than Kia vehicles as with the original series, the new 2023 Tobots are based on Hyundai vehicles, though stylized as with the original series.
The characters have been aged up from their original 9-10 years to fifth graders. This would assumably mean they are 10-12 years old in Tobot: Daedo's Heroes.
The builds of the Tobots, especially those of X and Z, are much bulkier than their original designs, not unlike the preceding Tobot Galaxy Detectives designs and most competitors.
Footage from the original series is reused at many points, but the original recordings were redubbed.
In the official trailer and art, X, Y, and Z are shown to be based off of Hyundai-based car models than the original Kia-based models. Their build is more bulky than the previous version of Retrobot Continuity Tobots, especially those of Y and Z. As for their attacks, it is shown that the Tobots have retained most of their original, iconic moves, such as X's Power Smash, Y's Sonic Kick, and Z's Spider Mode. And also their ability to combine into Tobot Tritan.
In part 1, X, Y, and Z had robotic echo effects that are very unsubtle. These were heavily minimized in part 2.
Due to a different casting pool, almost none of the original english cast reprised their roles.
↑The seasons of Tobot in this country are dubbed by different studios, although season 3 of the original series was dubbed before, the current broadcasting channel (SCTV3) only air the first 2 seasons and marks this new series as "the third season".
