Tobot W is the first flying Tobot, piloted by Nathan. His greatest weapon is the Ice Gun, which fires icy blasts.
He is later upgraded into Tobot Mach W, and is now a blue-orange jet.
Appearance[]
W's apperance almost looks like an astronaut. His face has a W shaped visor just like Tobots X,Y,Z And Tritan. He has Purple highlights and White. He also has wings at the back and a jetpack to aid in flight. His shoulder pads which are his doors are folded in his shoulders while in the toy, you are able to bring it out. In his Mach W mode, He receives a jet mode with extra boosters in the back and his colors have been swapped out from White and Purple highlights, to Blue and Orange highlights. and as stated, He Has a giant turbine in his chest, very similar to Tobot Titan's hurricane spin mode. In Daedo's Heroes, W now sports a new look, regaining features from both his original and Mach W forms, he now transforms into a white Hyundai Kona with his blue coloring showing in his robot mode, W now has a sleeker build for aerodynamics, larger and stylized wings, and now sports an astronaut or pilot's helmet, or a mixture of both. He still retains a cockpit for Nathan to sit in, and his cockpit can also house Timmy and Ra Daeon when he, A, Hook, and Jab combine into Tetran. Just like the other tobots with the exception of the Rescue Crew, he can exit his robot mode and become a small chibi version of himself to interact with humans.
Personality[]
Tobot W's serious tone and manner, plus his resounding echo verbal tic, make him sound like a bard or minstrel. However, this trait is lost in the English dub. In the English dub,W is portrayed as a chill laid back person with a similar joking demeanor like Y,somewhat of a stoner,in a sense. Although when push comes to shove he can lose his chill demeanor.
Abilities[]
W's entire gimmick is his ability to fly (hence the "W" for "Wing"), allowing him to support the other Tobots from the sky.
W's main weapon is his Ice Gun (a recolor of Tobot Z's Spider Gun), which mainly fires rubber band-shaped projectiles that encase their targets in solid ice. The Ice Gun is kept in his mach upgrade, though the toyline specifically refers to it as the "New Ice Gun" (plus it has a color change).
W's move-set is as follows:
- Ice Blaster
The Ice Gun fires a continuous stream of ice that freezes when it hits a target. Unlike the standard blasts, the Ice Blaster freezes everything in one blast. Or covers things in snow.
- Ice Block
W fires a series of blasts from his Ice Gun; these blasts then turn into blocks (specifically Tetrominoes, with at least one instance of a Pentomino) that can be assembled into walls.
- Ice Trail
W takes off, leaving a path of ice wherever he goes. This path can be used by other Tobots.
- Anti-Flame Shield
An alternate mode in W's base form that changes his colors to navy and orange and presumably increases his fire defense.
- Ice Storm
Used in his mach upgrade, W fires a miniature blizzard from the Hurricane Spin-like turbine on his chest. This ability is retained in Daedo's Heroes, though this time, W instead rotates his wings to that his front tires can orient towards the target, spinning as turbines before firing a twin-stream blast.
- Ice Grenade
Used in his mach upgrade. W fires an ice missile(s) from his Ice Gun, which "explode" a mist upon impact.
- Ice Blast
Used in Daedo's Heroes; W fires off ice blasts with built-in hand blasters, given this form's lack of any version of the Ice Gun.
- Ice Ram
Used in Daedo's Heroes; W uses his hand blasters to conjure a giant battering ram made of ice. He then picks it up and uses it to ram the opponent at full speed.

- Accessories: Tophone, Coreroid
The third release in the wave for the revival series' second season, this version of Tobot W transforms into a white licensed 2024 Hyundai Kona. While based primarily on his original Kia Ray design in structure and color, this new W features blue robot mode parts instead of purple as a nod to his "Mach" redesign. Like Tobot A, the 2024 W comes with a tophone with a magnetic headlight feature; using a special magnet-activated power switch, W's car mode headlights will turn on and light up, with three modes depending on how many times the magnetic key is touched against the front of the car, with the magnet being in the tophone. Like A, W features surprisingly advanced articulation for any Tobot toy post-Tobot C, and as with every revival series Tobot save for Doc, Ssen, and Boom, he has a Coreroid function; his head is attached to a smaller robot body with ball-jointed arms that slots into the torso to act as the larger robot body's head.

Trivia[]
- Tobot W is the first Tobot seen in the series to not be created by either Dr. Char or Limo.
- Tobot W is the only Tobot to have had multiple potential pilots competing to be able to pilot it.
- Tobot W is also the first tobot to actually fly, and the only Tobot from the original series to be featured in Tobots Athlon series as Tobot Mach W.
- Initial concept art of W's design in Daedo's Heroes depict him with a color layout similar to his first design before a blue was used in the place of purple, presumably to homage Mach W.
- W's Toy has weird Color discrepencies with Purple/white highlights being missing, W's arm missing the grey on it,the top of the waist being completely purple and W having Orange on his head instead of the normal yellow, although the stickers don't reflect the head color top change, retaining yellow.
Notes[]
- W's theme music is Wyldelife by Aleksandar Dimitrijevic.
